You might feel tired after a long day of excursion, and you’d rather sit down and relax with a glass of wine than going on an evening hike. We get it. But we must also warn that you do not want to miss the opportunity to experience the Faroese mountains on a bright summer evening.
As experienced explorers of the Faroe Islands, we can testify that some of our most gratifying moments in nature have been on late night treks in the mountains. That’s when the cool breeze of the day tends to calm down while sunlight continues late into the evening. This sets the stage for a more divine experience that leaves you with an amplified sense of fulfillment and well-being. So find the courage, tie your shoelaces, bring your good mood, and let us take you out for a sunset hike.
We depart from Tórshavn at 6pm for a short drive up the northern part of the Streymoy mountains where several great routes are available to us. The hike will take 3-4 hours, including a well-deserved snack break along the way. You’ll be back home at 11pm the latest, ready for a good night’s sleep.
The tour is dependent upon reasonable weather conditions. In case of poor weather, the tour will be either rescheduled or reimbursed at your decision.
